Base material is 3/8” PU and is unaffected by humidity or temperature change. Cushion under-lay protects floor surfaces and enhances the “feel” of this product.
Each of the 8 switches is an individual component. This makes any potential repair a breeze as it is only 4 screws and 2 wire plugs to replace any single switch.
Internal switch plates are high-carbon / high-conductivity steel.
Industrial grade low ohm wire harness transmits the switch signal to the game in 0.15 millisecond intervals.
Each switch is fully encased in high durability molded urethane rubber and is water resistant to 20 meters depth.
Switch panels are color fast as all design colors are molded into the switch during manufacture.
Safe for bare foot use.
Urethane surface is easy clean and low maintenance. A solution of mild soap and warm water are all that is needed to keep the unit clean and sanitary.

LCD Monitors....
Response Time is an attribute that applies to LCD monitors. It translates to the amount of time it takes for a liquid crystal cell to go from active (black) to inactive (white) and back to active (black) again. It is measured in milliseconds (ms). Lower numbers mean faster transitions and therefore less visible image artifacts. Older monitors with long response times would create a smear or blur pattern around moving objects, making them unacceptable for moving video. High response times can be annoying to a viewer depending on the type of data being displayed and how rapidly the image is changing or moving. However current LCDs monitors have improved to the point that this is rarely seen.

For an LCD display a figure of 8-16ms for rise and fall times is typical. We are also beginning to see 2 ms response times for LCD displays, this is best for gamers and makes the cost of the LCD rise considerably. It should be noted that the response time given by the LCD manufacturer is often the fastest measured, and not the average or maximum response time (which may be significantly longer). In comparison a CRT displaying a picture with an update frequency of 60-80 Hz, could be said to have a response time of 12.5 ms and upwards. However, as the picture is updated completely (and virtually instantly) each time the electron beam passes over the screen, CRTs won't have the same problems with smearing or ghosting. The same is true for plasma displays (however, both CRTs and plasma displays can have problems with flicker).
