Circuit training is a great way to get a total body workout in a short period of time. Many people feel as though they have to spend at least an hour at the gym in order to see results, with at least 20 minutes spent on a cardio warm-up before doing any strength training, followed by a cool down. Circuit training allows individuals to progress at their own pace to improve their cardio fitness, increase strength and muscle tone, and lose weight. Circuit training consists of a series of exercises (usually eight to 10, but it can vary depending on your fitness level) that are performed in succession, with only a brief rest between exercises. Each exercise is performed for either a fixed number of repetitions or a specified period of time (such as 30 seconds). The resting period between each exercise is no more than 30 seconds, with longer periods between each circuit. Circuit Training in Fitness Centers Many fitness centers are beginning to offer circuit training classes. It's advantageous from the trainer's perspective, as he can have small classes that offer the same level of attention that customers usually receive in one-on-one personal training. If you operate a fitness center and are considering adding circuit training to the courses that are offered, Built in the USA carries all the equipment that you need for participants to complete a full range of exercises. We carry hydraulic circuit training equipment made in America. While some gym members are intimidated by using free weights, hydraulic machines break down the barriers that they have about beginning a workout program. We will ship the equipment directly from the factory, as well as guide you through the manufacturers' warranties so that you can contact us should any problems arise with the equipment.
